Chasseur Alpin Beret

Strong symbol of French military history, the typical “Chasseur Alpin” Beret is distinguished by its generous 33 cm diameter and its drop to the side. Inspired by the model worn by mountain troops since the end of the 19th century, it originally combined protection, flexibility and resistance.

Knitted in merino wool, felted, and shaped using traditional craftsmanship, this beret is reinterpreted in workshops in Bayonne today. It is a piece of character: timeless, elegant and steeped in history.
