A Limited Edition Bag with Alexander Tullo

The bag it self was designed and popularized by Calvin Fredrick and made in our Montreal factory. A classic tote reimagined for the things we carry throughout our life. We sat down with the talent Alexander Tullo in late 2025 to think about the ecosystem of Milo & Dexter and the people, places and objects it has immersed itself in. Tullo is a well respected animator in Montréal and beyond, who has established himself well. His first film won Silver in 2021 at the Student Oscars and since then he has been part of many productions. 

Tullo has used a garment pen to imagine and then draw up 27 original illustrations. Each bag is one of one. 

“My vision was always to make each bag unique in theme and identity. The priority for subject matter was to follow how it feels to wear Milo & Dexter.

Every piece is hand-drawn. I marked up a very rough composition on each bag with pencil, then inked it with a permanent felt-tip fabric marker. If you look closely, you may still find some original pencil marks from the exploratory stage on certain bags. I chose not to fully erase these lines in certain places, as to not hide labour that goes into the art-making process”.
